The Moonshell Tee is designed by Asita Krebs from Sidispinnt especially for Fruity Knitting Sport. Please note that the kit does not include the pattern. You can purchase Asita's pattern via Ravelry.

The Moonshell Tee is mostly worked seamlessly in the round and bottom-up, with a twisted stitch lace pattern around the hem. After dividing front and back for the armholes, there will be
some short-row shoulder shaping. The shoulders are joined using a modified 3 Needle Bind-off. There are no shaping decreases and increases along the sides of the body.

The tee is intended to be worn with about 10-15 cm / 4-6" positive ease around the bust. Select a size from the finished measurements
that gives you 10-15 cm / 4-6" positive ease. If you're in between sizes, select a size that will give you your desired fit.

Yarn Characteristics

Weight: Sport: 150m per 50g /164yds per 50g

Blend: 90% Falklands Corriedale / 10% Mulberry Silk

Falklands Corriedale: This fibre has a good long staple length, is smooth with a hint of lustre and oodles of bounce. The breed is derived from a cross of the Merino sheep and Lincoln Longwool.

Mulberry Silk: This fibre is produced by the Bombyx silk moth. It has the lowest micron count of any natural fibre making it incredibly soft and extremely lustrous. When added to a blend it gives the fibre a phenomenal drape, durability and shine.

Care instructions

Our yarns are steamed after being spun. This makes them bloom. Once your knitted piece is finished, we do recommend wet blocking the piece to the given dimensions. This will set all your stitches and guarantee that your garment looks its best.

Hand-wash only.
