Rhythmic Pulse Gloves are designed by Inbal Gross from Knit of the Dragon especially for Fruity Knitting Sport. Please note that the kit does not include the pattern. You can purchase Inbal's pattern via Ravelry or knitofthedragon.com.

A perfect companion to the Rhythmic Pulse Vest, these gloves carry the same flowing vertical waves, symbolizing life’s constant movement forward - row by row.

Beginning with a 2x2 ribbed cuff that continues across the back of the hand against a smooth stockinette background, the gloves are shaped with simple thumb gusset increases. Choose from three styles to match your preference: fingerless, half-finger, or full-finger gloves.

The pattern includes detailed video tutorials for all cable techniques, the 2x2 ribbed bind-off, finger grafting, and tips for avoiding gaps around the thumb. The back-of-hand motif is fully charted, with guidance videos for each rib direction. For knitters wanting an extra creative touch, an additional tutorial shows how to add a pop of colour to highlight the stitch detail.

Yarn Characteristics

Weight: Sport: 150m per 50g /164yds per 50g

Blend: 90% Falklands Corriedale / 10% Mulberry Silk

Falklands Corriedale: This fibre has a good long staple length, is smooth with a hint of lustre and oodles of bounce. The breed is derived from a cross of the Merino sheep and Lincoln Longwool.

Mulberry Silk: This fibre is produced by the Bombyx silk moth. It has the lowest micron count of any natural fibre making it incredibly soft and extremely lustrous. When added to a blend it gives the fibre a phenomenal drape, durability and shine.

Care instructions

Our yarns are steamed after being spun. This makes them bloom. Once your knitted piece is finished, we do recommend wet blocking the piece to the given dimensions. This will set all your stitches and guarantee that your garment looks its best.

Hand-wash only.
